Day 4 of The 12 days of Christmas

On the fourth day of Christmas my true love sent to me: 4 National Championships for the LSU Tigers. 3 Bowl Wins for Vandy, 2 New Teams, and 1 Rematch

You might think that with all the coverage LSU is getting on this site we just love the Tigers. That is far from the truth. The problem is, Alabama claims so many titles they do not fit down the chimney in order to be part of the 12 days of Christmas. That leaves Santa only one option, the LSU Tigers. So congratulations to you Tiger fans, Santa will be bringing you your fourth National Championship and your third in ten years. The first claimed National Championship came in 1958, the second was in 2003 when they defeated Oklahoma, the third came in 2007 with a win over Ohio State, and the fourth will come against Alabama. LSU was the first team to win two National Championships during the BCS era and a win on January 9th, 2012 will make them first program to win three. The Championship game is a rematch of a 9-6 LSU overtime victory, a defensive game that we watched on November 5, 2011 played at Alabama. This game brought CBS the second highest TV rantings for a regular season game in 24 years; we expect the National Championship game to have similar TV numbers. In conclusion, on this the fourth day of Christmas Santa was good to the Tigers and has given them their fourth National Championship. For the Tide fans out there don't be sad, your not on Santa's naughty list. Our true love only gave us 12 days and some of you claim as many as 15 National Championships.
