The Cowbells are Ringing in Christmas for Day 10!
Day 10 of the 12 Days of Christmas!
On the tenth day of Christmas my true love sent to me; 10 Cowbells Ringing, 9 National Championships for Pat Summitt, 8 bowl wins, 7 Happy Coaches, 6 in a Row, 5 NCAA Tournament Bids, 4 National Championships for LSU, 3 Bowl wins for Vandy, 2 New Teams, and One Rematch
On the tenth day of Christmas Santa is ringing in the Holidays with Cowbells in the Music City. Mississippi State is looking for its tenth bowl win in the school’s history on December 30, 2011 in the Franklin American Mortgage Music City Bowl. This will mark the second bowl appearance for the Bulldogs under Head Coach Dan Mullin. Mullin and his Bulldogs won in his first bowl appearance against the Michigan Wolverines at the 2011 Gator Bowl. The Bulldogs have played in fifteen bowl games in their long football history and have won nine of the fifteen. This will make their sixteenth appearance in a bowl game, and they will be looking for their tenth win. The bulldogs have won five straight bowl games that span over a thirteen year period. This marks the first meeting all time between Mississippi State and Wake Forest and the Vegas Insiders currently have the bulldogs a 7 point favorite.
Luckily for State fans Santa loves cowbells, and wants to hear them ringing in the New Year in the Music City. Santa is going to make all Bulldogs fans happy, and give them their tenth bowl win for Christmas and their sixth straight. The win will come at the expense of the Wake Forrest Demon Deacons, and I hope for Demon Deacon fans they are prepared to hear cowbells ringing throughout the New Year.
