Dan Mullen  had won his second straight Egg Bowl over arch rival Ole Miss when he proudly proclaimed, "We will never loose to this team again!" Many took that comment as either bold or stupid, depending on who you talk to.  Others took it as Mullen being just his usual brash self. But was Mullen referring to football or in every other sport minus a few club sports, because that's exactly what has happened over the last few years. State has dominated Ole Miss in everything minus hockey and scattergories.

Tonight No. 15 OurState travels to Oxford to try and continue their dominance against Andy Kennedy's Rebels..Sorry.. Black Bears??  Confederates...I get confused but nonetheless the bulldogs look to continue to flex their muscles as Rick Stansbury's club has won five straight verses the school up north and Stansbury holds a 20-7 edge over his rival fromLay-Fay-etteCounty.

State 15-3 (2-1) knows though this is no easy task and expects to get all it can handle from Ole Miss 11-6 (1-2) as the Rebs dropped a heartbreak-er on the road this past weekend at Auburn and a sense of urgency looms in Oxford.

Ole Miss has shown flashes of a really good team this year - like last weeks impressive win over Arkansas, but then looks like a retard trying to play hop scotch.

State meanwhile has put together an impressive early campaign with wins over the likes of Arizona,West Virginia and-Texas a&m, but as they say throw the records out, its a rival game.  Wait.. I hate that saying. The records do matter.  State has by far the better team in this game - with senior guard Dee Bost, freshman Rodney (John) Hood and Arnett Moultrie leading the way.

Yes I know then there's that fat tub of crap Renardo Sidney - which by the way had his best two games last year verses this very team, but I digress.

I expect Ole Miss with Murphy Holloway, Terrance Henry and the rest of this dirty bunch to give #Hailstate <-- like how I did that?" all they want but in the end, I expect to see Sidney with a defining end of the game dunk, head to the bench for another hamburger and Andy Kennedy to eventually kill a cab driver tonight in Our State.
