In the minds of most Kentucky fans, the University of Louisville doesn't have a whole lot to write home about. They have a coach who is overpaid, seems to have been passed up by the game, has been shaken by scandal, and just doesn't win as much as they would like.
The one thing that they have been able to hang their hats on is their brand new arena, the KFC Yum! Center. Louisville and Rick Pitino have done all they could do to make sure that the only game Kentucky plays there is the road game they play every other year against Louisville. Kentucky plays one home game every year in the city of Louisville, but is forced to do that at Freedom Hall.
All that will end Thursday as Kentucky will host the winner of Miss. Valley St./Western Kentucky at 6:50. If the Cats survive the second round they will get the winner of Iowa St./U.Conn Saturday. The Kentucky fans seem to be taking great pride in poking fun at UofL by making shirts declaring the KFC Yum Center! "Their House". Also note, as the Cats are occupying the Yum! Center, Louisville will be playing their first round game in Portland. I hear Portland is nice this time of year.
