Finally some news to write about, which hasn’t been much lately since the men’s basketball hasn’t been too exciting,Auburn’s 2012 Non-Conference football schedule has been set.

Yesterday, AD Jay Jacobs announced the Tigers would open the Chic-Fil-A bowl with the Clemson Tigers. This should be a great game give what took place this past season and it will be a neutral site indoors.  The other home games will beULM,New Mexico(HC) and Alabama A & M. Seriously Jacobs, Alabama A & M? I love it! This should be a cake walk of game, unless it turns out likeUtahlast year. (Good lord, please don’t let that happen again)

Auburn's SEC home games at Jordan-Hare Stadium will include LSU (Sept. 22),Arkansas(Oct. 6),TexasA&M (Oct. 27) andGeorgia(Nov. 10). This will be a big year as well since LSU andGeorgiawill come to Jordan-Hare after a great season run last year. Oh let us not forget a first-ever trip to Jordan-Hare Stadium by our new conference member Texas A&M.  The rest of the season will be on the road heading to Ole Miss, Vanderbilt, MS State, and the Iron Bowl at Alabama (good lord I can’t believe it’s time to go that god forsaken place).

Overall it seems like a good season with not many road bumps in the way. The only teams I see giving AU problems would be LSU andAlabama. And don’t give me any crappy about, “What aboutArkansas???” mane they just a flea on my tiger nuts.. push off..
